Introduction
SUNIX IDE1400 is an ultra high-speed ATA channel PATA (IDE) host controller board with PCI-Express x1 (one lane) interface to connect two legacy Parallel-ATA (IDE) or ATAPI devices to provide extendable connection for motherboard, desktop PC system. It achieves a 133 MB/s burst transfer rate to enabling the utilization of system built-in ATA driver with capacities greater than 137GB. In addition, IDE1400 board is driver free under Microsoft Windows and Linux operation system with system booting and data storing feature. IDE1400 works with various brands of Ultra ATA 133/100/66/33 hard disk and CF (Compact Flash card) drivers and ATAPI CD/DVD R/RW devices.
